Ballroom & Latin Dancing Lessons & Classes in Bournemouth & Poole

The 1st Dance Studio offers Ballroom & Latin Dance lessons for people of all ages and ability in Bournemouth & Poole at our Dance Studios in Poole, Dorset.  Our friendly and welcoming dance & dance fitness studio offers fun dance classes for Beginners every week.

Group classes are a very affordable way of learning the wonderful art and skill of partner dancing.  They are also a great way of meeting and interacting with new people without the awkwardness and expense that clubs and bars can cause.  We pride ourselves in making everyone very welcome and comfortable.  Whilst not trying to please everyone all the time we do endeavour to use our experience and skill to be flexible and creative in our classes that no matter what level you are you will still find our classes informative and enjoyable.  We do different classes for different levels.  It is always advisable to speak to us about which class would suit you.

Every Tuesday 8.30pm-9.30pm

Only £5.50 per person

Our Beginner's Ballroom & Latin fun dance class covers all the popular  dances seen on this years Strictly Come Dancing.  Each class will include hot Latin & Ballroom dance routines, focusing on basic steps to build your knowledge and confidence. These dances are accompanied by cool, popular music. 

There is also a social dance time for you to practice what you have learnt in your class! With coffee & tea available for purchase for you to catch up with friends.

New members are always made welcome! These classes are for dance couples or individual dancers.  So if you are ready to get down and boogie, this is the class for you.

To Improve your learning, or to help with your fitness, as we all know dance is the best form of exercise, we recommend you joining in the

Strictly Social Dance Party  every Wednesday at 8.30pm-10.30pm. 

 A great way to dance and exercise .  You never know you may meet a new friend.  Nadia will also be on hand to help with any dance related problems.

Every Wednesday 8.30pm-10.30pm Open to All!

Our weekly dance party is open to all abilities of dancers.  It is a fun practice night where you may come with your dance partner or as an individual dancer, there are always dancers to dance and practice with.  We play a mix of Ballroom & Latin and some fun social dance music too, so everyone feels part of the night.

Coffee and tea is available to purchase during the evening, for you to catch up and chat to friends.  You never know you may meet a new dancing partner!
